This three story Craftsman style home has approximately 3600 sf of finished living area. The design, which was created by an architect, brings back fond memories of a time when the pace of life was slower and there was time to relax. This home was fun to build! The pentagon shaped back porch has a tongue-and-groove mahogany floor and is custom made for outdoor living. I can picture the family playing Monopoly on a warm summer day. There were some challenges associated with this home site. Poor percolation results required an innovative anaerobic drip irrigation septic system that cost as much as the garage. There was also an existing old home on the lot that had to be demolished, and an outdated hand dug well that had to be sealed before the new home could be built.
